the holidays are a time of reflection and thanksgiving, you know? i just cannot be thankful enough that i have found someone to share my life with who starts the morning by reading, not the new york times or the wall street journal, but perezhilton.com, could a girl ask for much more? thought not...
school is out and the projectsa grow exponentially. sigh. i would photograph santa's effing workshop, but i'm embarrassed to document a mess of this magnitude. the quilt is nearly done, inexplicably, cutting the damn thing out has taken longer than the sewing part, have i missed something? done something wrong? i'm just a little confused by this. the socks are moving right along, and i've only just realized that i have no present for my younger brother since i am not in the position to finance a car for him, shit, i can't even finance groceries. but there is always money for bombolino, no?
my mom suggested that for christmas i might like a watch? i just need to narrow it down now, the doll-themed watch or the gynecologist-themed watch? hmmm.
this is one of my favorite silly things my mom says, "doing on the email" this actually means on the computer/internet, but to her email, internet, and computer are one and the same.

shhh! you didn't hear this from me...when he thinks i'm in the other room, colin sings to the cat; right now he's singing the veritable classic, "great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts." nice.
and so it came that the Cat Izzy, 72 hours into his occupation of fairmount ave, became the ruler of the household, ruling with an (fat) iron paw, daclaring that the residents, his faithful would rise at 5 am, rather than the scheduled 6:45. i'm tired. i threw him into the bathroom with his litter box and food, whereupon he meowed for nearly an hour before curling up in the bath tub and calling it quits. also, he constantly wags his tail, like a dog, it's really funny.
i'm still here. i just haven't felt like updating, that and there wasn't much to say. but now i am the proud mama of an obese cat. there will be pictures and videos to follow.
it's always bugged me that the cd for kind of blue is red.
